We are conducting targeted consultations with a range of stakeholders to ensure that they are aware of the changes and to gather feedback on the proposed regulations.
A survey addressing the key principles of the Gender Equality Act, has been developed, and will attempt to get a baseline analysis of all key stakeholders understanding of Gender Equality and the Act, gender pay equity, and how it is embedded into everyday functions, processes and opportunities.
Gender equality is the process of being fair. It is a human rights issue that describes the provision of the same resources, opportunities and rewards to everyone regardless of whether they identify as being man, woman or a non-binary identity.
Gender equality will be achieved when women, men and gender diverse people can access and enjoy equal resources and opportunities regardless of gender.
