What is the People Matter Survey?
The People Matter Survey is a survey conducted by the Victorian Public Sector Commission every two years that seeks to gain the opinions of public sector staff in all areas relating to their employment.
Over 190 Public Sector Organisations participate in the survey and then results are collated and benchmarked across the board. The survey is not compulsory to participate in, however, KDH actively promote participation by all staff to ensure that they are receiving accurate data.
What are some of the areas?
Areas that are able to be targeted include:
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Employee Wellbeing
- Change Management
- Sexual Harassment
- Bullying and Discrimination
What do KDH do with the data?
At the conclusion of each survey, the results are distributed to our Department Heads who then work together to identify areas that KDH are doing well at, as well as areas that need improvement.
Action plans are developed and fed down to the staff to ensure that every employee at Kerang District Health is aware of these results and what the organisation as a whole is doing to continually improve the workplace.
