Located on the banks of the Loddon River between Swan Hill and Echuca, Kerang is the centre of the Kerang Wetlands System which supports hundreds of waterbirds, including the Gannawara Shire Council logo – the Ibis.

The area is agriculturally focused with a diverse enterprise mix including livestock, dairy, hay & grain, horticulture, viticulture and stone fruit as well as offering a wide range of sporting and leisure activities for people of all ages.
