Kerang District Graduate Nursing Program provides the opportunity for candidates to consolidate their learnings in a busy small rural health service that is determined to be innovative and amazing while delivering the best possible care.
 

Kerang District Health delivers a diverse range of inpatient, outpatient, aged care and community health service to the Gannawarra Shire and surrounding areas.

FOR REGISTERED NURSES

The 2025 Registered nurse graduate program application process

Step 1: Apply online via the Graduate Nursing and Midwifery program website https://gnmp.pmcv.com.au/

Step 2: Apply directly with Kerang District Health via email [email protected] . Applications must include

  • A cover letter
  • CV
  • Copy of academic transcript to date
  • 2 clinical appraisals from placement
  • Referee check x 2 completed as part of the PMCV GNMP application process
  • Participate in the PMCV video between the 1st and the 4th of July

FOR ENROLLED NURSES

The 2025 enrolled nurse graduate program application process

  • 2 clinical appraisals from placement
  • Name of 3 referees

Program Structure:

FOR REGISTERED NURSES

The 12 month fixed term program offers a structured learning program and the ability to complete rotations through Acute Ward, District Nursing, theatre and Residential Aged Care Facility with the potential to gain exposure to our Medical Clinic and Oncology Services. The graduate program run for 12 months and nurses are employed at 0.8 FTE (8 shifts per fortnight)
